RPPvP was always the best compromise. Fewer stupid names, but due to the PvP tag of the server it was avoided by most of the hardcore RPers, so things actually got done.
I'm neither an RPer, nor a massive PvPer, but RPPvP servers just attract the right kind of people for The Haven.

SSL is dead, the contrast with even a moderately populated realm is scary (I've been levelling some of my toons on Ghostlands) and frankly, the names are no better or worse than on Scarshield; in fact it's possible that SSL is worse, I've seen plenty of cringeworthy l33t names on there and because the population is so low, no-one bothers to report them. Blizzard don't really seem to give a damn about naming policies anyway.
I'm still undecided if I'll continue with WoW when MoP proper comes out, I'll give the new talents a try and see how it feels, but I would fully support a move away from SSL. If it's got to be RPPVP, then go to Defias Brotherhood.

looking at http://www.warcraftrealms.com/eu_realmstats.php?sort=Total seems defias brotherhood would be best indeed. Argent dawn has a messed up horde alliance ratio, horde being the underpopulated side.

First impression of 5.0.4 is that this will be final nail in the WoW coffin for me. I just about got on with the hunter after seeing my main nuke get nerfed by 40% overnight, but then logged onto the tankadin to find my AOE threat has gone through the floor and key skills simply removed; my damage mitigation reduced by 20% and stat priorities changed completely.
It's all but totally unrecognisable from the class I played through WotLK and Cata.
People always said the only game that could kill WoW was WoW. And they might just have done it at last.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, I stopped WoW for a good while when RIFT came out, and stopped WoW again about six months ago before returning recently out of boredom to see if I could get the bug again.
Well, it's got until the 3rd of September when the current month expires to change my mind, otherwise I'll be giving GW2 a pop.

It's the first game I've bought which cost over £15 in about 2 years. At first I hated it due to the Beta weekends, and thought I'd made a horrible mistake. I'm glad to see that now at release I was horribly wrong, and it's an awesome game. Considering there's no sub fees, that one time payment gives you an MMO you can go back to whenever you feel like it.
