Well, there's this thing called Mosquito Ringtones that play sounds at certain frequencies that adults can't hear.

How high can you all hear? I can hear 16.7khz.

EDIT: 21.1khz now.. :s

I was like 'Oh, shit! I can't hear any of them .. my ears must be knacked' when in fact I had media player volume at zero :eek:

I can hear up to 19.8, and I can hear a noise at 21.1, but it might just be the speaker struggling to play the hi-freq. Can't hear 22.4.

Tis not just adults some youngsters can't here high freq as well.
My physics teacher couldn't anything past 14K and he was 28

When i did this in a thing 2 yrs back i got about 23K but at that point it really hurts

I heard a faint sound on 24.4, but the highest one I could properly hear was 21.1. Not too shabby.

You suck! Both Emma and I can hear the 21.1khz, though not the 22.4khz one.

21.1khz :D (that's a relief, I thought my hearing range would have been gone forever by this stage...)


Also, bear in mind that if you set some of the higher of these frequencies as your ringtones you may confuse any bats/dogs/predators you happen to be passing...

I can't hear the 22.4Khz noise but i can the rest ! :), i thought my hearing was going to be alot worse :p
