I can't view it... Quicktime says that it cannot view the file due to "a bad public movie atom" in the file...

I saw this a while back. From the same director show did Requiem for a Dream and Pi. Both great films. Can't wait for this one. Looks AWESOME.

thatbloke - try this non-HD format ones. You might not have the latest Quicktime, which includes the new codecs for HD trailers :)

well I don't have the latest quicktime, no. Because I have to get shitty iTunes with it. and iTunes is YET ANOTHER FRIGGING MEDIA PLAYER that I don't need.

Good. I feel the same. Get Media Player Classic from here. Works wonderfully with the new HD formats and everything. And asks if you want to download the .movs instead of just watching them (but you can do either). In fact, its what I'm using now.

Edit - Also, you can download Quicktime with iTunes, and then uninstall iTunes separately. Ok, its effort, but you don't HAVE to have it.

Hmmm, works fine for me... Do a google for it, and try it from some other sites. However, they all just mirror what the site gives.

Yeah, downloaded it and played with QuickTime, which promptly crashed when I tried this time. Looks like it was just the HD trailer that was a problem... the midsize one. Plays fine with the normal trailer in my browser.

Sounds to me like you haven't got the latest version with the HD codecs. Or at least this is what my problem was. Then I had huge problems getting the latest version to work in firefox, which is why I switched to MPC. Best suggestion is to get the latest version I'm afraid :(

Did anyone watch this movie? My parents bought it on DVD and I just watched it tonight. Mega confusing...but some pretty visual effects.

I bought it on DVD last week (had it on pre-order), but have only managed to watch the first 5 minutes so far! Which is still pretty confusing, but yeah, gonna watch it tomorrow. Will post up how I see it then :)

I finally watched it all with Shadow last week, amazing effects, confusing timeline and quite sad in parts.

Although there are still bits I do not understand (because they are not explained :)) I really enjoyed it and its different enough to make a nice change.

Definately worth watching if you like "different".
