Greetings all!
It's been a while since i posted at this forum, in fact, i think i haven't posted anything yet on this fairly new site
Since someone who's name i won't put up got me addicted to webbased games like inselkampf i've been looking over the net for something challenging.
I've found out that there are Multi User Dungeons (Muds), who to my suprise are quite old already, on the internet. You play these Muds by going into the server via a telnet connection. It's something like an MMO, but its all text based and quite fun aswell.
Perhaps i might hook you up to the server / mud i'm playing on now for some while? The Muds name is Fataldimensions. For more information about it, just click on the name! The server is all about fun, so it seems. There's quite a lot of mobs running around behaving like the critters you once saw on Cartoon Network. A nice example of that are Pinky and The Brain.. Pinky just cant stop babbeling and keeps uttering words like "Zoink!".
Also, when you are leveled up a bit, you can decide to part the city of Midgaard (starting area) and look up area's like "Jack and the bean-stalk" or even "Sherwood forest" or the famous "Village of the Gauls & the roman encampment".
I'm known on the server as Scrat, called after the famous squirrel with his acorn, a human thief. There are several immortals running on the server, these are the programmers and builders of the mud. If you run into any problems, just ask them out, they are more then welcome to lend you a hand (as are most of the players there).
