I'm hoping this will turn into another thread we can play around in when bored at work.
It's a new idea, so I don't know how well it will work but can't hurt to try right?
You have to describe a film and we have to guess it. The skill here lies in not giving away obvious hints, but picking at things relevant enough for people to stand a chance. I think for fun you can adopt any kind of persona you want when describing the film as well. You can describe one part of the film, or give a summary of the whole plot. If people are stuck, try give a couple more clues before we give up. I just thought it'd be fun to make people use their descriptive abilities rather than rely on pictures.
So for example.
A bunch of people are freezing cold and have to burn books to stay alive, and some chick hurts her leg so her friends go fight off some wolves to get her medicine.
That was a very brief description of a bit of
OK I'll go properly now. When you get one right, post the current scores so we can keep track.
There's this big alien ship and it crashes and they all die!!1 But then one gets brought back alive and she's HOT. And there's lots of fighting and there's this blue alien that likes to sing with something in her gut, which she gives to the good guys cos she dies. And then the hot alien chick kisses some dude which saves the world from some black gunky crap.
