Right, for those of you who don't know; Naxxramas, the old 40-man dungeon that was the pinnacle of raiding before Burning Crusade, will cease to exist as we know it when the next patch is released. It moves to Northrend, and the old raid dungeon will be removed from the game, being replaced by a level 80 version for 10/25 people in the Dragonblight, acting as the entry-level raid for Wrath.
We likely have at least a week and a bit from the time of this post until the instance is gone, and since we've been working on old-world raids already, what better to do than Naxx itself? We can do the other old world raids later, but Naxx is now on a timer, in essence.
So, this thread is for two things; partly, for people to express their interest in coming to Naxx to see the sights and to be able to say "I went into old Naxxramas" when we're all sitting at 80 and spinning tales.
If you are attuned to Naxxramas, please say so in the poll attached to this thread; if you aren't, the attunement is easy, and you can change your poll vote later. If you have no interest at all in doing Naxx, then show as much on the poll.
For the sake of making this immensely easier on those of us trying to organise this, please don't vote on this poll unless you are a level 70 character in The Haven guild on Scarshield Legion, or a member of the Ashen Order (or other guild) who has been given the thumbs-up to participate.
For those that want to know how to attune, it's based on your reputation with the Argent Dawn:
At Honoured: 5 Arcane Crystals, 2 Nexus Crystals, 1 Righteous Orb, 60 Gold
At Revered: 2 Arcane Crystals, 1 Nexus Crystals, 30 Gold
At Exalted: Free
The quest to get attuned is obtained from an NPC in the Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands. The guild bank and some members of the guild can help with acquiring the materials to attune, and if you need to reach Honoured with the Argent Dawn, doing some of the quests in Stratholme/Scholomance and some of the general quests around the Eastern Plaguelands will give this rep VERY fast.
Also please note that the poll is not a signup; there will be a seperate signup for that express purpose.
Hope we can get this off the ground; I for one would love to see the place one more time before it changes.
Oh, and a final note: if you wish to come along and are attuned, please say in this thread which characters you have that are attuned, and which you would willing to bring.
