well now my laptop is getting rather dated and wont run any new games so i was lurking around the alienware side of things and found this:
http://www.alienware.co.uk/configur...syscode=PC-EU-LT-AURM9700&subcode=SKU-DEFAULT

when i have put all the things i want in the laptop in like the best processor and graphics card they have to offer and the 2GB of ram. do you techno gurus think this is a good laptop and will last for a while before it needs to be replaced as it gets outdated. can anybody recomend another laptop that is better or just as good, money is no problem as the army are giving me a lump some of money, so fire away.

I've tended to hear pretty good things about Alienware but, as Fury says, they're not cheap!

Dell are in the same market for gaming laptops with their XPS and XPS2 series. Also might be worth a look.

Not so much "stay" in the market but "control" the market. Monopoly is a bad thing as has the potential to reduce market creativity. :(

or benefit from economies of scale, depends on the evil nature of the monopolist really..
