New Might & Magic game powered by Source Engine

Dark Messiah of Might & Magic (demo available at Gamershell or FilePlanet) is a new Might and Magic game, using the Source engine!

Ubisoft has released a playable demo for Dark Messiah of Might & Magic, allowing you to try out the FPS for PC in the works at Arkane Studios, the team behind Arx Fatalis. The game introduces players to the world of Ashan, the new setting for all future Might & Magic games. Ashan is a dark and unforgiving world, scarred by a bloody history and threatened by an apocalyptic prophecy: the Dark Messiah. Players will have the choice to become expert warriors, mages or assassins, each with their own cache of devastating weapons and spells to use in battling huge and vicious enemies. Through combat, players will unlock new skills and equipment.

There is also an E3 trailer and E3 demo movie available from Gamershell.

Please note though, that (when I looked) the Gamershell server bandwidth was being chewed through by everyone trying to get this 1.3Gig file (!), so it might take some time

Had a wee play, not amazing :/. Though kicking people onto spikes and backstabbing was vaguely entertaining .

It's also very short at about 20 mins for 1.3 gig download and then a 2.5 gig install!
