well today i broke my moblie phone because i forgot to take it out of my pocket whilst i went swimming, it was a nokia 6230 so it is quite old and suppose needed replacing

i am looking for a phone that has all the same features like pictures videos bluetooth and a memory card for music, i want a decent camera on it like 2 mega pixle. i also do not want to spend loads.

phones that i am looking at are sony erikson W800i and the W810i

what do you guys think?

A couple of people I know have and love their Sony Ericsson W800i. You can whack a memory card in it, it plays music, it has bluetooth, it can make you a cup of tea, it can play Java games, it can do a whole load of stuff*.

If you want to go 3G and get yourself a phone on 3, myself and thatbird have the LG U880 phones on 3 and though I can't speak for her, I love it. It can do all of the above and you also get all of the movies and better access to info on the move...

I currently ejoy owning a Sony Ericsson W810i. It's an impressive bit of kit.

It has a built in MP3 player and radio, a 2 Megapixel camera, the best phone software on the market and it looks pretty sweet as well. Mine came with a 512mb memory chip as standard but these can be upgraded.

The only thing that it is missing (which Piacular enjoyed pointing out) is that it doesn't support i-mode internet browsing. Just plain old WAP unfortunately.

You may want to hold out a bit if you can as there is a new design of this phone (W850i) in the pipeline.

Alternatively if you want to go for a 3G phone you won't do much better then the new K800i that's going to be released soon. This phone has a stomping great 3.2 Megapixel sony camera in it! It also looks sweet as.

I'm unsure as to whether this will be released as a non 3G version.

Ive got a Sony Ericsson K750i which is still at the cutting edge of the competition but quite a bit cheaper now. Its got 2 megapixel camera, 64mb mem stick w/ 32mb onboard (able to upgrade to 1 gb mem stick), video editing software, mp3 player etc. etc. Personally Id go with a Sony Ericsson over a Samsung D600 because a) they look better b) theyre more reliable and c) theyre cheaper.

the K750i would of been my first choice but it does not come with that much storage and doesnt have the walkman thingy built into in.

Well funnily enough, at the end of this month I will be buying myself a black Sony Ericsson W810i on the O2 100 tarriff, which for those interested gives me:

• 100 Anytime minutes + double for first 300 months.
• 100 texts a month + double for first three months

All for 25 Squids a month. I will uprgade that to the 02 200 tarriff if I find I need it which gives you double the minutes for 30 squids a month.

The W800i is what I have as well, took it on thehavennet meet last time and the photos were not bad considering, plus the mp3 is a bonus on it too.

If you're going to go W800i, you might as well go K750i. W800i = K750i except that you can play mp3s while the phone is off, plus a bigger mem card 512mb. 50 quid more for a 30 quid upgrade? My advice? Get the W900i or wait for the W950i when it comes out, it looks awesome and it has better features.

P.S. Dont get a slide phone

I'd go for Sony Erricsson or Samsung, get it from Phones 4 U as their retail isnt to great at the moment so theyre giving the best deals !
