New version of Bloodbowl

I’ve been hearing rumors that Cyanide are going to release a new edition of Bloodbowl sometime in 2012. As I have heard it, its likely to include the extra teams that were left out of legendary edition (Chaos Dwarf, Underworld, Chaos Pact and Slann). Also I think they are going to fix (or try and fix) the remaining small bugs in the game. And finally there is talk about including more star players.

I have no idea how much its going to cost or if it will totally supersede Legendary (like Legendary did to Dark Elf edition) or act as a kind of add-on?

Does anyone else know about this? I've read about it on a couple of BB related forums, but nobody seemed very clear about exactly what's going to happen and at this stage it seems mostly rumors (which i am perpetuating by making this post).

I've never heard of those other ones, but the wikipedia claims there is only chaos dwarves missing.
Last i had heard, Cyanide had only 1 guy left on their Bloodbowl team, and i can't imagine him making an expansion on his own.

The other 3 teams are new unofficial teams. They were released with the new rulebook about 1 year ago.

Here is the thread on another forum where i saw it being discussed. http://bbtactics.com/forums/cyanide-plans-2012-a-t1228/ Also I have seen people online chatting about it.

You may be right though. It could just be rumors. But if there's money to be made, i suspect they will do it.

If they do this, I will love them forever. I've been wanting to play a Slann team for aaaaages!

I've not heard anything personally, but to be honest, this is likely where I'd hear it first anyway...

It'd be nice but not essential. Think the choice of races is diverse enough most people will find something that appeals to them as it stands now.

If it wasnt at gamesday this year as an announcement or even as sneak peek i cant think that it'll be happening anytime soon.
