Next Guild Event

I am looking to organise/participate in the Guilds next get together.

But what do we want to do?

People have mentioned wanting to kite a Dragon, and also closing down an Alliance outpost.

Both are great ideas, but do you have any of your own?

It must be something all Guild members of any level can join in with.

I think that we as a group should slay the elite dragon that tools around dreadmaul post.

We probably have enough people now to conduct a successful attack.

He/she is called Teremus the devourer.

I am definitely in.

A bit of research brings up these pointers:

His AOE deals around 500/600 damage. The range for this is 50/60 yards.
The more who attack, the more he will heal himself.
He is immune to a lot of spells.

Hang on a mo....Why dont the guild go on a massive quest to kill ALL the non-instance dragons in the world.
They are quite a lot of the big buggers around. Lets murder em.

With that kind of damage you'll need more than just myself healing. Post up a time and a date and make it happen.

The problem with the other dragons.... is everyone else wants to kill em too

There are instances where the dragon respawns and as you are killing it a different guild kills you to stop you

We also need two people to plan the execution of this vile abhoration.

If its OK with them.. Loki plans the Tankings, and Haven plans the Castings.

I have also seen two other elite+ dragons flying around. 1 in Hillsbrad, and another in Dustwallow. Do we want to kill them as well during this event?

I am doing some research into the roaming elite dragons that can be killed by small groups. I have found 5 so far, but there does not seem to be a definite list of what is out there.

So help me out by filling in the spaces.

Known so far:

Dreamtracker - level 62+
Found at the top of the ramp in Seradane in the Hinterlands

Another dragon - level 62+
Found roaming about in Seradane in the Hinterlands

Somnus - level 62+
Found in Dustwallow marsh

Teremus - level ??+
Found in the Blasted lands

Unknown dragon - level ??+
Found in the NE of Hillsbrad

Also post up encounters you have had with these or other dragons. It may come in very useful for the mega-event that will be coming shortly.

There are several in tanaris... The most prominent of which is Nozdormu (outside the caverns of time), who gives out epic items to the braves who face the AQ.

If you have not guessed already, I am trying to organise an event that involves killing off the non-instanced Elite Dragons of the world.
The problem is that there is no definitive way of taking down each one, unless you have a crew of 5x tier 2 level 60's. We dont have that luxury yet, so to avoid having a dissapointing night, we shall start slaying the smaller monsters first.

So here's the suggested kill list for the night:

1. Somnus - Level 62 Elite dragon that roams around Dustwallow marsh. (easy)

2. Dreamtracker (62 Elite) + his friend (60 Elite) - Dragons that can be found in Seradane in the Hinterlands. (moderately difficult)

3. Kill the three Dragons that live outside the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. They are Elite levels 55,58,60. (If taken one at a time, its childs play)

4. Teremus - ?? Elite Dragon that roams around the Blasted lands. (are you nuts, this beast hits regularly for 1200, nuff said)

There are other dragons abroad in the world, but these are the most accessible.

Please note this is an outline plan, and not set in stone in any way.

I want to include ALL Guild members in this event, so I have a plan to have the lower level members form an Archers squad.

Thats the outline for the event. The event will probably be on a Sunday evening around 7pm. Please post up your thoughts on this idea.

I'm working on a trinket quest at the moment, that allows me to pick up lower level characters and use them as meat shields.

I think three or four would suffice. Warriors preferably with reasonably high armor class.

There's an easily accessible dragon in the northeastern corner of Ashenvale. Quite fun to kite it onto Darkshore

Nozdorumu is out, I don't want to lose rep with the bronze dragonflight now or ever, partially as they are allies in the AQ war, and partially as we'll need to be friendly with them in order to access the Caverns of Time in the expansion

There's a dragon in the Wetlands, but I can't remember what level it is; nothing challening, I'm guessing.

There's got to be other ones around as well, surely? And there's certainly some outdoor raid bosses around that aren't draconic in nature.
