My landlord got a call from me this morning detailing how the flat I am currently am living in had burnt down after accidentally leaving a candle lit ontop of my old box TV. Using the help of a friend in the fire brigade, whom also phone him this mornign of the 'news', my landlord got really panicked and rushed 50 miles to make sure me and my fiance were okay and that his flat was fine... only to find the flat had not burnt down and both me and my fiance were at work at the time.

I don't get that one. It's just what VLC has been able to do for like 4 years now. Not really a "fool".

Don't think it's anything to do with them showing off the ability to turn video into text, but rather:

For every person who selects TEXTp and keeps it on while you watch a video, you save YouTube $1 a second, resulting in potentially billions of dollars of savings for us.

After an office mate stole a guy's mouse at work (and he couldn't find it), I spent 2 hours making paper ears, eyes, nose, whiskers, feet and a 3d block of cheese and taped them to the mouse. I then left it on his desk under a model mousetrap.
