Ok so i am currently shifting some stuff around to get back on before Cata hits, chech out the changes made since i left just adter the echo isles patch and get ready for the new grind...then i came up with a new idea...

Oh wait no ..umm..yup got it now, From the very point that cata hits what about starting a goblin and running thru from thr so wen i get to cata level it wont be lagged to high heaven and massive running pvp battles to get down the quest mobs.
This then provoked new questions i.e...Can 2 guys that go camping together really lay naked in a single sleeping bag to conserve warmth or is it gay...Dammit, train of thought slipping...
Point is this, wen u start a lev 1 character after Cata will u be starting in the old world as we know it now or will it be a brand new and shiney Belf type 1-20 starting area, also if the starting zones are being redone will they be ravaged dy deathwing from the start or will that all be phased?? so like...a brand new Durutar and also a phased Durutar when u hit 80??
hope these questions make sense, if u could form an orderly line in answering them and have your reports in no later than the 7th of dec, or u will be marked down to a mandatory 40% pass mark, that is all.

EVERYTHING is going to change. Including the 1-60 levelling experience.

It's entirely possible they will use phased areas but I don't expect that there will be many phased areas until the 81-85 levelling experience

Only levelled one character on the Beta server and he was undead. The area between Tirisfal and Silverpine Forest is phased. This is like the only part i have played and it was phased so im expecting to see much more in other parts of the world.

Soooo we should be seeing a totally new spiffy starting area for most all races but also phased so u dont start the game as an orc, run to ogra and its all fuked up so u have to run back!

Also what is the transition going to be ...if i logged out in an area of massive change...for example: Thousand needles, if i log of there on a ground level path where will i apear when it gets flooded? in the graveyard ?

I think only the goblin and worgen zones are in a totally different phase to the rest of the world. But the orc, troll, taurens, undead (while having some phasing during the leveling experience) will still be part of the same world and be different in look only if you have done those starter zone quests.

My understanding is that if your somewhere with major change, e.g 1k needles or the lava crack in barrens, you'll be sent to your hearthstone location and that's where you'll log in from.
