Hello, all,
As some of you already know, Lith is leaving WoW for Rift. As such, he has stepped down from Guild Master, after many years of devoted service. This guild owes him a lot, and I for one will always be grateful for his leadership.
Me, I'm sad to see the Rift crowd leave the game, and I harbour the secret hope that many, if not all, will come back. Till then, I hope Rift can capture their gaming spirit as deeply as WoW did.
But, in the meantime, the show must go on. I'm proud to announce that I'm taking over as The Haven's new Guild Master. I'm aiming to make this new beginning a fruitful part of the guild's life, and I know I can count on you all to make it happen.
Right, then. The new officer crew:
- Auryn is the new Executive Officer, basically the second in command. Promotions, demotions, guild notes, the bank, and all that day-to-day stuff will be her primary role, but she also speaks for me whenever I'm not around. If you need anything from the guild, she's your gal.
- Fae is the "new" Warden of the Community, basically our Den Mom. )The quotes are there because she was already handling that, anyway. ) She's in charge of fields are recruitment, dispute handling and overall good feelings. That includes disputes against me, by they way. If you have a problem with me but are uncomfortable with confronting me directly, she's fully mandated to advocate your case.
- Xylak is the new Raid Manager. His job is to know the raid team inside out. He gets final say on who makes it to Trial Raider and who makes it to full Raider. He also gets to decide on raiding goals and which raids can be considered progression and which can be considered farms. It doesn't mean he actually has to lead every raid, though.
That's it for now. I'll come back with more as soon as there is more to come back with.
Cheers,
J.
