On site one on one chat?

I came about this idea.. there now actually.. about being able to open a chat window, much like MSN or X-Fire, to chat one on one on the THN site. It would be useful for people without X-Fire? What do you think?

Use the Java-IRC client on comedy, or PMs I think that would put too much load on the poor server! Still, it can be done, I wouldn't say no

Get X-fire its not that hard to download and it doesnt take up much space makes everything simpler

Honestly, I think this isn't going to fly. It'd be one of those amusing widgets that people use once and never again. Or so I suspect, and on that suspicion and as the person who'd probably be the one to implement it it's currently a lame duck.
