To me it looks like her mouth doesn't match the words but that could be any number of things.
I wouldn't put it past them though, I've seen a MiniDisk player used as a bomb on one of these sorts of shows before.

The CSI shows do seem to have researchers and writers that went to the School of McGuyver for their scientific accuracy so this doesn't surprise me one bit :P
