Steam are doing Operation Arrowhead for £9.99 today. I already got the DVD version for my birthday, though I've had no chance to check it out yet. That said, new maps and resources for not a lot monies...

If we buy on steam, are we forced to use the ARMA patch they want us to use?

I don't know. I notice Steam is on 1.07 but I think 1.08 is the general release. However, for Op Arrowhead the patches are separate as the game is stand-alone.

yeah, got it now. played through most of hte tutorials. I'm not sure I could survive hearing more of that voice (numberFOUR-go-t-thMAN) so I'm not going to play any sp, methinks.
