I'm a little sceptical about OFP2, in that from everything I've heard it's got pretty much none of the original developers involved. Sadly, their own effort, Armed Assault, didn't seem to gather much in the way of a following. A shame, because I would have loved to play some co-op on a LAN.

It is a shame I agree but Armed Assault was an absolute power hog and was brutal in its realism.

Unfortunately it was only brutal in its realism towards you the player. The AI was able to see through undergrowth and kill you from a mile away.

Also the game didn't have feel fleshed out in the way that a game like Battlefield does. It's hard to describe this and I'm aware that the original OPF didn't feel fully fleshed out either but I was hoping that the advances in technology would have addressed this. Maybe it's an issue with my machine not being powerful enough to run the high graphical settings.

Fingers crossed for OPF2 I guess.
