I have just heard on the olde grapevine, that patch 1.22v will be released today.
Its a small quick fix patch, that should be ready to download from 'EA downloader'.
Size of patch is 9mb
Known fixes in this patch are:

- Improved Server Stability
- Adjusted handling of the Tiger attack chopper
- Increased delay for aiming reticule when going from movement to prone on all support weapons
- Adjusted deviation on MG36 and PKM to be in line with other support weapons
- Increased rpm from 600 to 900 on the P90
- Fixed Lock on error on certain Oil towers
- Fixed a Great Wall Exploit
- Fixed exploits on Dragon Valley and Karkand

It means they just got nerfed and will now not act like a sniper rifle with infinite ammo...

Ive now got the full info on the new patch.

Patch version 1.22 is now available for download.

If you have Euro forces, then use the EA Downloader page, and click on '1.21 to 1.22 incremental'. Patch size is 8992kb.

An alternative is to use the download on an unofficial EA website. Link here.

Gopha..try downloading the full 1.22 patch, size 362mb, you never know it might work.

lol ill try but i rele have lost the will to live lol (in an EA sense)

I've grabbed myself a copy of the EA Downloader but the patch doesn't show up for me. Is this because I don't have Euro Forces?

don't know... some people seem to be having a few problems with this patch though, but I haven't experienced any yet...

This game is a pig and the people at EA are all b******s.

I tried installing the new patch tonight. Downloaded it fine, started to install it, sent my screen white and froze. So, I try again. Thia time, the patcher says that BF2 v1.21 has to be installed. It already was installed, so I tried re-installing it again, which worked fine, tried to install v1.22 and it comes up with the same bloody message again.

I hate EA. I hate EA. I hate EA. :mad:

P.S Sorry about the swearing, but i'm slightly cheesed off at the moment to put it nicely.

Well i'm not sure if I can be arsed, it'll take forever. I'll just download the big patch that covers everything and wait 5 days for that to install lol

Not that bad, it's very samey now I find, which is why I stopped playing...
What with my Medieval:Total War arriving today or tomorrow, I probably won't be playing it again for a while...
