PC Games to watch out for in 2013

Okay, that was a pretty epic list, especially as it only included releases on PC.

I think it touched everything I've noted so far plus buckets of stuff that I've never heard of (and perhaps don't care about... so many retro-a-like games!). Reminded me of Castle Story, which sounds amusing. New one I spotted that also amused me was The Showdown Effect, a side-scrolling shooter in the vein of Action Quake (does no one but me remember that AQ was the original?).

It's kind of sad to see how we are supposed to be excited about indie shit and consolized trash.
But I guess that's just part of the "gamer culture" that is rampant nowadays.

Anywho, quite looking forward to DaS2, quite enjoyed the first.
Also ofcourse looking forward to MH3U.
And I might end up picking up Bioshock infinite and/or metro last light.

Beyond good and evil 2 and uhh... oh wow thats it for 2013. How many 4's, 5's and 6's of series titles?

The last game in the dreamfall series is to actually get made and lots of other interesting things in the beyond catagory. Great.

No eternal darkenss 2. No new oddworld game. No mention of any new half life or steam endevours. Pretty bleak really.

We'll have to see if 2k can makes something truely wonderful out of bioshock infinite, rather than a reskinned system shock 2. Reskinning and graphically updating the best game of all time is an easy way to cotton on to a winner, but doesn't take much independent original thought.

They're calling it: 'Untitled Dreamfall MMO when what everyone wants is a singleplayer storydriven adventure'

Don't be so negative. There's a very good interview on Eurogamer with Ragnar Tornquist and he states it is going to be single player. That's always been the plan, although they were originally going to make it episodic, but they're just doing a straight up game now. Kickstarter will be set up soon as he's had to set up a new studio to develop and publish it as Funcom are pretty much an MMO company now.

Call to Arms - the spiritual successor to Men of War - should hopefuly be in beta some time around Q4 this year (technically i guess the game isn't a 2013 game :)), so that's one to look out for if you are into strategy games
