PM Spam

[Ronin Storm]

Just had a bit of a storm of private message spam. Some have noticed it and reported it. Others will arrive and wonder why they've received a PM notification and can't find the PM. I've purged all offending PM spam and the offending user has been banned.

Follows the profile of a bot. Indicates a breach of CAPTCHA, unfortunately.

We'll keep an eye on the situation.

Interestingly they have been a member since 26th March and only started spamming today.

That may indicate a pre-registered account that has only now been activated or an inactive account that has been breached. I suspect the former, though.
