Preperation for Friday.

In Cryo Sleep
Guys, I'll keep it short and sweet.

If we get a progression worthy this Friday we will be going to SSC now that we have destroyed half of TK, to broaden our horizons and what not.

I need you all to four things for me;

1- Make sure all your gems and enchants are up to scratch for any new gear you may have gotten.

2- Be repaired, bring plenty of buff food, flasks and/or elixers as well as health and mana pots.

3- Every time you are near an auction house go to Armour>Plate and search between levels 60 and 70 for the word "Protection" if you see any plate at all with Nature or Frost Protection on it...buy it. The guild bank will refund you

4- And most importantly I need you to go to WoWWiki or another similar site of your choice and read tactics on Hydross the Unstable and The Lurker Below.

On the night we will likely attempt (and probably kill Lurker - he's easy) and then move on to a wipe filled night of fun on Hydross.

I'll see you all on Friday for some ass kicking.

Cheers,

-- Tuldur

Lurker is a easy fight, note to your tank, before EACH whirl stand just in the water, so he/she will be knocked back onto the platform

Hydross you should REALLY watch aggro on, cause he will drop aggro at each phase, so a over confident DPS can and will wipe the raid, just make sure you have a frost, nature and a offtank (mix of both) and im sure youll do awsome :)

Good luck on both <3

We don't need the advice here, Gombol; people need to go and read the articles for themselves. Thanks anyway.

Seriously lighten up. Having not tanked this myself I certainly do need the advice. If you don't then all well and good.

Ta for the tips Gombol.

Tactics does not give personal tips, its the "General way" its done, dontbe so proud all the time lith.

I doubt any tactics would give the writers experience, just the main, basic tactics.

I'm not being "proud". I'm telling people to go look at the base tactics. What comes from your experience arose from what you experienced with a specific group of people, and we could very well work differently.

Different groups of people tank Prince in different places in Karazhan, for example. People differ on the number of tanks they take to Al'ar for the upper platforms. People differ on how they deal with Void Reaver's orbs.

Advice would be appreciated when we're struggling. We have yet to try the encounters, and thus we just need to know what the boss does and the standard "vanilla" tactics for it, and then we'll see if we need to adapt for the way we work.

All i did, was give a tip to the MT, to make the encountr to go smoothly, it happens ALL the time, whirl will knock your tank back @10 foot, maybe more, standing JUST in the water will get the tank knocked back onto the platform, meaning he dont need to run back in.

But whatever, if you dont want a tiny bit of advice, NOT even ment to you, ment to the main tank, then sure, ill shut up.

All of which can be read on the relevant pages about the encounter and the suggested vanilla tactics for such a fight. People need to show that they can put the effort in by going to these websites and reading for themselves rather than being spoon-fed on the forums or in-game. Putting the effort in also tends to make an encounter more satisfying when it's downed. I'm not saying you should just shut up, I'm saying that people need to go and read the pages anyway, and learn from them.

Hey guys, Decky here, Long time no post  Just to wish you guys all the best in your progression, it seems to me that since the last time I posted you have made a lot of positive progress, which is great =) A Tip: Not for tactics, but for kill order. Generally, most guilds choose to kill hydross last in the kill order in SSC before the Lady herself. It usually goes Lurker-Leo-Karathress-Morogrim-Hydross-Lady. This tends to be the best way to ease into the difficulty, and once your at Lady, be prepared for many weeks of wiping. She is a bitch, that requires weeks of practise, but there are great rewards from killing her. GL and maybe I'll post again soon :D

I can't say this for everyone, but a few of us are VERY tentative about Lady Vashj.. she's a guild-breaking bitch of a boss. We'll work around on the various bosses in there before we even think about looking at her.

And good to see you around, Decky! Don't think I've seen you since I was fairly new... crickey that was ages ago
