In Cryo Sleep
The reason I ask is I am stuck between whether to keep discipline or whether to change to holy :S any thoughts?

Go for what you feel best suits you, in my opinion. If you truly cannot decide, get the Dual Specification ability and have one as Holy, one as Discipline and then use that to decide which one you prefer.

My personal favorite was this.

However, some advocate the use of Body and Soul and I admit it has its uses (Defiles, Saurfang beasts, general utility) so this would be more like it.

Yet others can work wonders spamming Renews around. I myself have a druid alt for that, but Deathnugget used to be quite good at it anyway. Just slam 3/3 empowered renew and try and make it work.

Not to be rude to any holy priesties out there, but i thought Holy wasn't too good anymore? And that Disc is the new "Priest spec"?

Meh, disc seems to be better indeed.
Anyway I will stick with Holy because I love being a holy priest :)
( And my healing isn't too bad anyway :P )

Bearing in mind I haven't played for a while - I thought that Holy was now the more AoE/spammy healer spec, with disc being better for single target healage

I too would advocate the usage of Discipline over Holy, simply because there are at least two other classes that can effectively raid-heal but no other class can mitigate damage like Discipline priests can.

Holies are crappy single-target healers and rather good AoE healers, but as I said, you would have to be pretty much top-percentile player to rival the Shamtastic ones. It's really fun to be a holy priest, but in terms of raid composition, if I were to choose between one Holie or one Disco, I'd take the disco anyday.

It's really not, there are numerous situations in PvE where it can be very beneficial. Blood Beasts, Professor adds (the gassy ones), Defiles, Orb tanking, any AoE, need I go on? Personally I don't like it, but that's mainly because I didn't learn how to use it properly in my short time of having it.

There are situations were it can be handy indeed. Though I will never use it, a sudden 70% speedboost can also get people in trouble :) I wouldn't like it....
Also throwing shield around as holy will get us an angry Zooggy :P
