[EVE] Problem

Right. Im newish to Eve. Maybe played about 8 hours or so in the two weeks ive been playing.

Im Gallente. And i know where im going skill and ship wise (thanks, Q-man), but -

Ive done all the quests in my starting area (Advanced Studies School). And im not sure where to go next. I did have someone telling me he would "bookmark" something in people and places, but I cant seem to find anyone new in there.

Can anyone suggest where I might find myself some good missions?

Seems to have solved itself. I found a mission over in the next system (Luse)

I've not played through the new tutorial system but I do remember feeling a little high-and-dry at the point where I'd run out of initial missions. One thing it did make me work on, though, was understanding the map. Hunting the map for agents you can use is a worthwhile endeavour as you progress as you can find high quality or higher level agents relatively nearby and the missions/payouts improve.

Its sooo long since i was in that situation, so im not sure if what i have to add apply's anymore ^^'
but i dont think its changed much.

First of all, on the left you have a tab, for people and places.
In there, you can search for players, it lists your contacts and friends. It also has tabs for agents and locations. If it said it had added it, then it would be in there.

What i did when i got to there was, i went looking on eve-online homepage. It had a list of all the NPC corps out there.
At the time, diffrent corps would give diffrent equipment and objects in reward. Thats changed a bit, but if the lists still there, it gives you an idea of what the diffrent corps do. eg rat hunting, trading, producing.
Go with what you fancy doing, and it gives you a list of agent locations.
That or you can check out a corps info, and in there will also be a list of agents if you look around.

For my part, i used to do missions cor concord i think, then switched to Fed Navy, intelligence ^^ as i like doing combat missions.

We nabbed Tingham and Tashandra last night and dragged them both to Fricoure with myself, Psi Soldier and Dot so the problem has sorted itself

Basically, local009 has access to the level 4 Federation Navy agent in Fricoure and is 1 week away from having an orca with a metric fuckton of mining bonuses. We do L4 missions and mining ops together out there and split the ph4t l3wt.

More ISK = More Mining Faster = More ISK Faster = WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Also, been wanting to do level4's but not really wanted to do them solo ^^'

Let me know when you guys are doing stuff, and what you want me to bring to the party. (mining ship, (mining) hauler (nothing fancy), Battlecruiser (mym), BS (hyperion, though going to be fitting a domi soon))

If you mean 16 days untill a covetor, ya might as well go the whole way to hulk, it's only a day or 2 on top

not sure if id spring for a hulk.
100mil for a mining ship is a little more then im comfortble spending at the moment.

not to mention ive only got just shy of 80mil currently, and was going to put it towards a domi.
hmm.. maybe.
If i get into mining op's more regularly.
