PS3 Europe Launch Delayed

March 2007? Hmmmf. Personally, though, I am quite pleased with the delay. Im quite liking my 360 at the moment, so it gives me a bit more time to enjoy it without PS3 interference. On the downside, though, it means 360 games and accesories prices will remain the same i.e. very expensive. Oh well, Microsoft 1, Sony nilch.

doesn't surprise me. This does mean that (hopefully) there won't be the massive supply problems that there was with the 360, however it also means that the Sony fanboys will have to wait for their new baby! hurrah!

(I don't like Sony fanboys).

Doesn't bother me though, I won't be getting one of these for a very long time (if at all)

I think that that was more of a marketing move by MS then anything. If you (or at least, the average person) hears that a console (which they were maybe tempted to buy) is having low stocks, and lots of people pre-ordering them, they think that it must be a good console. It doesn't mean it is, it just means it MS make people want it more. Well, that's what I think anyway. And maybe delaying the release of the PS3 is a similiar affair. Means people have longer to save up for it (which, lets be honest, isn't the cheapest system around...) so more people will be able to get it at launch (if they start to save now!).

Same. I was tempted when I heard about it, and the lovely hardware. But after seeing the price tag, I'm a firm "not for a long time" person :D
