Hey all, after seeing a larger interest in pvp im considering making a pvp guide that will try and go through all the basics and some more of the advanced parts of the part. Ill be looking to put a lot of time and effort into it so just wondering if the interest is there. Also any requests on things you want info on too?

Always interested to read PvP stuffs, as people's opinions vary wildly depending on experience. I request my class be given a reliable stun

Seriously, find your class/spec, and read it. Generally it has a PvP section for each, tells you hit caps, stats to aim for, spec, glyphs etc.

Biggest tip I have is don't expect to do well in PvE gear. I hope people are getting entry level PvP gear (crafted, easy to get)

Currently I have over 30% damage redux from resi. Mentioning this because I can be a real good damage sponge if we have any healers (and Gods I hope we do, otherwise this is a doomed venture from the start.. healing is the single more overpowered thing in PvP, as always).

The Specs section is taking quite a while, trying to get good pvp specs for classes i dont play so researching my butt off. After that it should flow quickly

Atm with low resi values on everyone, PvE gear is lolz beyond belief. I can chew through pretty much anyone 1v1 atm. It's when the next season comes out it will no longer be viable, so I'm making the most of it whilst I can.

What low resi values? Actual Pvp players probably have as much as me if not more (I only started getting gear 3 weeks ago and already 3k resi)

PvP Gear > PvE at this point in time with regards to pvp content, however as the expansion progresses you'll see a lot of people substituting in rings/belts and one armor piece for pve pieces.

Well yeah given that you can get ilev 352 blues just from doing BG's, and ilev 359 purples from 2v2 arenas. Whereas in PvE to get anything decent you have to raid (lol).

But presumably the arena gear (if nothing else) will stay on par with pve gear.

3k resi is still uncommon enough atm. That, and a 30% damage nerf isn't all that much when you have classes which can do burst DPS on single targets of 18k+

Dagen and I have been doing arenas without resi, and are smashing face just from pure DPS overload into one person.
