qSpaceHulk is a conversion of the board game (surprise, surprise!) SpaceHulk. Something I used to play a lot, and I'm just getting into it again. If you're not familiar with SpaceHulk, it's your basic cliche marines in power suits vs. aliens. All turn based, it has play by email options, or normal network play (although I haven't tested that across the internet...) It's all very simple to learn, so you can jump right in and play.

Download here

If anyone wants to play a few rounds, poke me in IRC or PM me or something, and we can work out the details. :D

I loved Space Hulk and its wonderful Deathwing expansion. Wasn't so happy with the one with all the hybrids and pyskers in it.

I'll grab this right away! :)

In Cryo Sleep
(04:02:16) (+Carth) "marines can't move sideways"
(04:02:17) (+Carth) lame!
(04:02:21) (+Fuzzy_Bunny) XD
(04:02:30) (+Carth) what kind of a game is this
(04:02:34) (+Carth) where you can't strafe
(04:02:36) (+Carth) absurd

(04:09:44) (+Carth) I mean... if i wanted to play a board game, i'd play a board game
(04:09:51) (+Carth) a board game on a computer? ¬¬
(04:10:03) (+Carth) more like a BORED game! haha

Anyway. I don't think I can see myself playing it. I would play the board game, but not a computer version. If I'm on a computer I'd want to play a computer game.

In the beginning there was Aliens and Games Workshop saw the Aliens and saw that they were good. So Aliens begat Space Hulk and the Aliens boardgame, Space Hulk begat Deathwing and Genestealer and at least one computer game of the board game. Arguably, Space Hulk begat Confrontation, which in turn begat Necromunda, but some might deny these words.

Elsewhere, Team 17 begat Alien Breed, then later Alien Breed: Tower Assault. This line of kings dwindled into obscurity as their father fell out of favour and became worm food.

Then came Aliens Doom and lo we did crap ourselves good over that one. Then there was Aliens versus Predator and son of Aliens versus Predator that was called "2", but the father was stronger than the son in that it had a far superior multiplayer in the coop mode.

Then there was Alien Swarm and once again did neat coop play rule the day.

I think that's a fair stab at causality... :)

But what about Mork where does he fit..... :D

Mork does not fit in. Mork is evil, all apart from the "fly, be free!" bit that I found pretty funny at the time. Mindy is evil too. She is an alien sympathiser, and as Bart would tell us, she should be burnt as a lesson to the others.
