Quiting WoW, possibly forever

Ooi,

As the title says I am quiting WoW, possibly forever. There are a lot of different reasons for it. I now work 40 hours a week and I lost a lot interest in the game thanks to a new gaming addiction. (LoL ;) )
I also just don't like catalysm. WotLK was a lot better in my opinion, I loved the fact that you could just take anyone with your raids and not only the best. 'Bring the player, not the class' is a well know statement of Blizzard. I loved the fact that in WotLK 'you could bring the player, just any player'
Anyways, you won't see me back till my internship ends. That will be in june or something like that. Or I might never return.... Who knows?

I will log in on thursdays and fridays to help out with raiding, but I should get lowest priority. I won't log in on any other day then those two.My subscription ends 31 March.

I want to thank anyone I have ever met here for the time we spent in this world of warcraft. And I wish you all the best in reallife and in WoW ofc.

I have the feeling you won't be the only one missing by the end of March, matey. We still have TS, so I'm sure we'll all still be in touch :)

I prefer the way Cata works to WotLK, but it's too little too late really. WotLK brought far too many "I want it all now" players into the game, and even our little server has been hit hard by floods of idiots.
I think if it were as easy as WotLK we'd have seen people bored even sooner, as nothing would pose even a slight challenge.

EDIT: Not to hijack Elincia's thread, but I've cancelled my sub, runs out on the 2nd of April.

Sad to see you go buddy, I myself have just started a new job so I know at least some of what your going through :)

Keep in touch on the forums / TS if you can, would be a shame to lose touch completely.

I myself missed WOTLK , I dont like the catacylsm heroics and generally 85 stuff, I love leveling alts but as soon as I ding 80 I just stop now, Anyways not to hijack the thread either but I doubt it very much if ill be coming back either.. Sad to see you go Lincy but like me do try to pop in and again in TS to say hello to the 2 people in the wow channel:D

This whole rogue situation baffles me, one of the lowest played classes yet has some of the most enjoyable mechanics. Cata, on the whole, has balanced the class well too (PvP wise).
