[RIFT] Raid readiness

Just to try and get a rough idea of how close everyone is to readiness... well, how close is everyone?

Whilst basically having a set of T2 Expert equivalent-or-better gear is a pretty decent target, DPS also need to bear in mind the hit/focus caps; the character sheet in-game says 200, but according to Masia it's actually 220 to fully avoid enemy resists/misses in a Tier 1 Raid encounter.

To get a reasonable idea of where you're at, it'd be worth getting hold of an in-game DPS meter (or one of the external parsers, whatever floats your boat) and participating in a Daily Raid Rift group from Level 50 chat; raid rifts are basically Tier 1 raids with a chance for the Guardians to dick on you and try to tag your mobs :p

At this point it'd be shiny if someone could have a look around for what sort of figures we should be looking at for entry-level raid DPS so people have something to compare to. Support needn't worry too much, as long as they're hit/focus-capped and know their stuff well enough to keep their tasty, tasty buffs rolling. As for healers... um... I guess the ability to keep Aymasia/Kelvarus alive during some of their sillier pulls in T2 Experts is a good starting point?

Anyhoo, if people could shout here that they're ready, or how far off they are, so we can get an idea of what we have yet to do. I know we won't have a full guild-only 10-man group, but we can at least make sure that the people we have are completely ready before we half-inch a couple of folk from 50-chat to try Gilded Prophecy/Drowned Halls.

Got my toughness and hit cap sorted, also cut my teeth on raid rift tanking, and that went well. I know its not quite the same, but its a good start.

My warrior is sorted for T1 raid DPS, my cleric healer is almost lvl 50 and decked out for tier 2 dungeons

I easily have enough hit for the Expert Dungeons but have to swap out some things to get near the 220 hit. DPS wise from what fights masia has had his meter running if its a moving fight I get about 450-500 ish and if I get a good cycle going in a stationary nuke I can get up to 750-800 ish.

Way I've heard it, being able to take the hits from raid rift mobs and bosses is a good indication that you'll stand up to the Sliver Raid stuff. Although the Flayer-type mobs in the Terror of Undeath raid rift are another matter... those buggers hit like trucks, Masia was taking serious pain from them last time we did that one together.

Also, for the record; I'm geared in a mix of epic crafted set pieces (all but the ring), Tier 2 drops, Thaumaturge gear (T2 token stuff), and one piece of the raid token-bought gear. Two full source machines with a full set of epic lesser essences and epic greaters, bar one blue healer essence (considering replacing it with an epic shielding one).

Lyranne's decked in T1, a few T2 drops, and now a piece of the T2 token gear. I've not noticed too many issues with my healing, other than when things get silly (getting hit by things, usually). Only concern is Masia is hard to save, so less aggro from him would be swell :P

Also of note is that she of course will rapidly gear up with experts and such, so the more we do, the better. Also need to see what the materials are for the various crafted items are, as they're pretty damn good.

I second this, Masia goes down faster than my warrior, THERE, I SAID IT!

Some things in this post may not be based on facts.
