Right, raiding is kicking off again very soon, event's and shizzle will be posted soon. Our first two encounters will be Halfus Wyrmbreaker and Valiona and Theralion (Double dragon encounter)

Anyone wanting to come needs to check out the two links below showing LOD tic-tacs and how not to die horribly.

Halfus
Valiona and Theralion

Learn, enjoy, slaughter, smile...

Peace.

For some reason, I found the Halfus guide's details quite hard to pick up, whether it was his tone of voice or whatever :S

Personally I prefered this guide for Halfus that I found....

Halfus Wrymbreaker

....since it doesnt just show you what that raid is facing that week, but goes through each of the adds that can become active, what ability it gives the boss, and what killing that add does. Also it says in the vid that they're in blues, so i figured this will give us a more realistic look at the fight than some other videos I found which were done in beta by ilvl 359 premades :)

So I did some thinking. Yes as weird as that may sound, I actually did think.

So the thing is. In 5man heroics healers get /oom somewhat fast.
Just imagine in raiding. 2 or 3 healers need to heal the rest of us 8 or 7.
Melee and ranged dps must know what they are doing all the time. Because if you stand in green deadly shit longer than 1-2sec all of that mana spent on healing you is a waste. (Only a waste if you did not move immediately away from the green pool of death.) This means that. It is in the guilds best interest that you go and read the tactics and check out few videos to minimize wipes and mana spent for nothing.
I'm not saying that you need to be a some superhuman that knows it all from the getgo but after a few attempts... no excuses.
All that I am trying to say here is that people that intend to raid must be aware of the situation (raid awareness) and what is going to happen next and land your arse on the correct spot at the correct time.

Thank you for understanding.

PS. All this is just my opinion on how we, the guild should do things from here on out. So this is not an order (who am I to order you guys :p) this is just a suggestion.

No real details given on tanking other than "his main attack only affects the tank". Presumably it's melee, and tanking is just basic on this one then (though a pally can help with the stun rotation as well).

Then they are healing somewhat wrong, or just spamming their best heals too much.

In Heroics spamming big heals will cost you your mana very quickly, on calculation only 11 shots of Divine Light and I am completely oom. However that is the idea, to conserve the big heals until they actually matter. Also, if the healer has no form of decent mana regen (which is pretty much a requirement in early Heroics or early Raiding, since mana will become an issue) then they are geared wrong.

Also, as said, don't stand in green shit, don't stand in fires, don't be a nub and we won't have to spend those expensive heals hauling your arse back up again.

1) Yes.
2) You should be able to change to "Accept".
3) Lame tanking and barely-reasonable DPS is my lawn, get off :P

Aha but I was at work so couldn't change it to accept although I WISH I could launch WoW at work. P.S. I saw no raidings!
