Any chance you guys could add in a section for what console games people play? Just for the odd few who play things other than their computers all day. Thanks,

I believe I'm correct in saying as THN is a PC gaming community that these games aren't there, as the games you play list is to judge the games played online on PCs with other THNers. I know a lot of ppl play a lot of console games so it'd get fairly crowded very fast.
a possible solution to this would be to have a 2nd "type your own" box for console games and then have a where !null to generate a list of users that have console games and have the list in a pane at the bottom (titled something like console gamers) as this would allow you to click through and see what they're up for playing (possibly something like this for people who have something in the "other games" section would be nice as well )

In essence, I've nothing against a section for 360 games. However, there are some practical issues.
So I've paused on that while considering options. It's on my agenda but not likely to make it into Play Finder / Games You Play soon.
- vBulletin only allows 32 options per multi-select profile field, so we can't stack the existing fields out with too many games.
- Too many sections in the Games You Play profile risks having people stare at a page that they don't know what to do with and just not using it, which is antithetical to the purpose of the page.
- Text only boxes are okay but mean that we can't reliably check that person X and person Y are really playing the same game. CoD4 and Call of Duty 4 are logically the same but don't match in text, and certainly don't match Clal fo Dty 4... (this being the web and bad spelling to be expected).
So I've paused on that while considering options. It's on my agenda but not likely to make it into Play Finder / Games You Play soon.
