Are you blocking pop-ups?
Which editor are you using? Basic, Standard or WYSIWYG? (You can tell in User CP / Edit Options / Miscellaneous Options / Message Editor Interface).

Yes I am blocking pop-ups and I'm using the standard editor. I'm also using Firefox if it helps.

Please could you temporarily allow pop-ups from THN and see if that helps? I'm using Blue2 (Fixed), Firefox and the Standard editor and those said-same buttons appear to work for me.

Do you get the same problem when using the buttons on the quick reply editor?
Is it that nothing appears to happen?
Does it, by chance, work in IE for you?

I do have a similar problem with the quick reply editor, except that it's the quick reply button that doesn't work. It also seems that the "save" button on the edit post screen isn't working either.
Yes it is that nothing appears to happen. Usually, when you move the mouse over one of the buttons it gets highlighted. This doesn't happen for me, and nothing registers when I click any of the buttons either.
It does work in IE.

Indeed. that sounds like the problem to me!
These buttons all use javascript... however some people recommend that javascript be turned off so that its less of a security risk...

What anti-virus package are you using? Does it contain any "malicious" script blockers?

Do you get the same problem with the Blue2 (Fixed) style? (I imagine that the answer is "yes").
How about the Amber style? (not Amber2)

If you switch to the WYSIWYG editor does the situation improve at all?

Perhaps you could try doing the same thing at another vBulletin forum (that is the same version - found at the bottom of this page) and see if it happens there?
Perhaps the vBulletin community forums might be worth trying...
I guess you don't even have to post there, just attempt to post and play with the buttons to see if they work

I'm going to bump this forum to 3.6.2 shortly (possibly in the next few minutes) so hang fire before you try this.
