Riddick: Escape from butchers bay.

hey guys
i bought escape from butchers bay like 2 days ago cos one of my mates said it was awesome and i had to. its quite an old game so i assume that my computer can take everything on high (you'll have to ask Huung for detail he built it ).
the problem is that the game seems to lag, i thought it maybe be graphical but even on the lowest setting which i know my computer can take it still lags and its getting annoy cos it a kick ass game

i was wondering if anyone who has teh game or knows wat it could be please help me? Danke schön!

Hmm I used to have the game and had no problem playing it... Have you tried installing the v1.1 patch for it? It's supposed to fix some problems with Nvidia cards. Maybe also try updating your graphics drivers? Other than that I can't think of anything.

Thanks, i had the patch but i'll try the graphics drivers, its so annoying i've been waiting for it for so long lol

I fixed it! ^_^ and for anyone else who gets the problem wat i did was to take on the the CPUs off on the set affinity and that seemed to do it. know idea why but it did

ah it probably doesnt like dual or quad core systems, that is a common fix for old programs that crash under such circumstances.

What you've done is limit it to only be used on one processor
