Rift Planar War Event

Weekend just gone was the Rift Planar war Beta... Essentially, rifts opened up all over the place nearly all the time, PvE attacks on towns and massive open world group raids to fend them off.

One word sums this up! Awsome!

Was absolutly mental, works a bit like Warhammer Online events, but they're actually good - and realy rewarding.

From the short weekend of playing this game looks like its gonna be pretty incredible, class diversity is just amazing, i wont ruin it for those who don't want spoilers of classes , lets just say, woot!

Any one else have a play?

I had a bit of a play but it just came across as another WoW clone for me unfortunately. Just didn't get into it as it was pretty much the same mechanic as I've done for many a year and didn't offer enough of a story or anything new to grab me. Glad you got something out of it though
