I heard earlier in the week that he was in hospital with pneumonia - didn't think it was that bad an illness anymore?

O well, rest in pieces.

I think it's one of those illnesses that is either really easy to cure in some people, or just causes so many problems that it's mostly fatal in others. Not sure, as I don't know Jack about medicine!

Still, dying below 75 is not a good thing for anyone with today's "modern medicine". He was a funny guy at times!

pneumonia is one of those illnesses that can be cured if found quickly but its nature is still cancerous. Therefore not every illness that is found can be cured, as we now know in the case of Jeremy Beadle, may he Rest In Peace.
