RSS: Games usergroup & feed - feedback

I notice a few more people have picked up the RSS: Games feed and for the interesting games I'm also grabbing the Gamespot headlines and reposting them as replies in there too. NWN2, I notice, has come up for review by the GS team.

Really, though, I'm looking for some feedback on how useful and interesting this is to you. So, time for a poll...!

I tried it out but decided to remove myself from the usergroup.

I found that the updates were too frequent and that I spent a large amount of time just hitting the "mark this forum read" tag.

Most of the stuff I had already sourced myself. I am quite active when it comes to searching for games info and GS is one of my main sites for games news so the chances are that this service just isn't userul to me as I will probably already have seen the appropriate article.

I'm sitting on the fence for this one as I have only been part of that usergroup for a couple of days now and have not actually had the time to read anything that it has pointed me to.

I do however think that when I actually have the time to sit at my computer for a bit I may look... but the only issue I have is that from my experience most of the posts I have seen have been for XBox360 stuff, which isn't really relevant to me.

Any chance of getting this expanded to pull in Wii coverage as well?

Yup, easily. From Gamespot? Same keyword coverage as PC and Xbox?

That sounds fine. I'm interested to see how the game lineup pans out over the next month or so. It seems reasonably weak at this point...

Its a nice feature, my only gripe is that it covers all format (PC, 360, etc). It would be nice to have seperate RSS group signups for different platforms although I'm not sure how easy that would be to implement.

In one sense, it's easy enough to implement. Unfortunately, that leads to quite a forum and usergroup proliferation that can be hard to manage longer term.

I'll have a peer at the current usergroup structure and see if there's something cunning I could do with it.
