I'm trying to set RSS up properlly for THN, I'm a bit confused as to where to have it linking to.

I did have it linking to "New Post's" but that produced some interesting effects, last night I linked it to the main page (of games) and it's worked in the fact that I got notice of the thread "teamspeak bans".

However is there a better place to RSS link to, so that its possible to get notice not only of new threads but also updated threads?

Well, I'm first of all assuming you've had a scan of the FAQ entry on this subject? There's not much there, but hopefully a good start.

Assuming you're looking at that already, you'll realise that it's pretty crude. It does only fetch new threads, and then only only the thread when it is first posted.

I have been wondering at looking for extended RSS mods for vBulletin because I preferred the RSS feed from the Archive (or was it another IntegraMOD instance?) that showed the latest posts. It'd not remove the current system, but it could at least sit alongside providing an alternative.
