Ruin battleground being looked at

We’d like to assure players in the Ruin Battlegroup concerned with the size of the group, and thus the activity and variety of players in Arenas and Battlegrounds, that we are currently investigating solutions to this issue. Our goal is to ensure a thriving and enjoyable PVP environment for the group, and we are considering several options to do so.

We ask that you bear with us while we finalise our plans for Ruin and hope to be able to update you on our progress shortly.

Lets hope the changes are good ones.

To be honest, I miss the days when it was just SSL, no cross-realm... seemed to thrive back then. But this change might hopefully mean less waits at long last.

Having not played much PvP like, ever, can someone elaborate on what the problem with the battlegroup is?

(I'm assuming Ruin is the Battlegroup that SSL is in...)

Ruin has 4 realms in it and 2 of them are RP-PVP so the amount of battlefields is alot lower than other groups that have say 10 realms in them. I think?

Very few realms in our battleground (about 1/3rd of the normal number) and most of those are low population (i.e. Xavius) that blizzard is actively trying to make people migrate to.

Not many people in other words.
