nullity is a new theory/number proposed by this professor away from the conventional number line that means that dividing by zero is now possible.
This maens computer crashes and program errors due to the divide by zero error now become possible, or at least, "more manageable."
Also a number of new mathematical problems can now have a solution which includes the use of this nullity term, meaning that assuming other mathematicians like it and start using it, we're gonna start seeing some progress with certain mathematical problems.

Q2. If "dividing by zero" is possible, then nullity will have to have an infitine number of solutions, otherwise dividing 10 by 0 and 5000000 by 0 will produce the same result.

That's ridiculous. If you code your program to handle a divide by 0 error, then it won't be an issue. Likewise, if you don't code it to handle nullity, then your program will be broken. This is a useless "advancement" in computing, and it's only marginally useful for traditional math.
When you have a question you can't answer, inventing a symbol and telling everyone it's the proper answer is weak.
I've just invented a new number that allows calculations on the probability of death due to intense boredom when reading about something that has just been made up and is now receiving far too much attention.
