For dinner this evening my house were deep frying things.
We had sweet and sour chicken for main with some homemade chips.
Then we did mars bars for pudding, it was then that we saw we had lots of spare batter and bob remembered that he had some bite sized scotch eggs. As everyone knows these are fried egg in sausage meat in battered bread crumbs. So to improve matters we took one battered it and deep fried that. Then as my housemate is insane he took one of these deep fried ones and repeated the process. this this and this was what resulted

these were actually pretty tasty.

Haha, it looks like pakora. Cept better, obviously :D I don't deep fry many things, I hate too much greasy food, but I do respect those that try to coat their food in ever-larger shells of oil. Well done!

It's certainly not somet I plan on doing again anytime soon, but as a one off fun thing to do then it was a great laugh.
going to go eat some fruit and veg now though.

sounds like the sort of thing we would do as a fine on rugby tour. in fact, thats a bloody good idea.

Those pictures make me feel ill. Only because i've just finished off an XL doner kebab with large chips and a yorkie (its not for girls) for dessert.
