softer touch keyboard required.

Time to call on the advice of Havennet community again.

My keyboard feels a bit "too hard" to press. I feel it's making playing games unncessarily difficult and strain on left limb is becoming apparent.

I am thinking of getting a keyboard where the keys require very little force to depress, thus hopefully reducing strain on left arm/fingers/wrist while getting excited playing fps.

Justified recommnedations please.

Try one of the G Series, imo. They seem rather awsome.

My opinion for nice tactile response keyboards is always go for a saitek. I've used nothing else for the last 5 years on my home stuff and that is after testing every keyboard I can lay my hands on at LAN and other computer functions.

I've found nothing that to me feels as nice as even the cheapy saitek ones. The Logitech G series are pretty good but I either find them not quite as nice as the saitek ones or on some occasions almost slightly stodgy.

Totally seconding this. I have an Eclipse (the old black one) and I've had it 6 years now and never had a problem. I've dropped crap in it and got superglue stains on it, but it still keeps on trucking.

I feel with the Saitek keyboards my fingers just glide across the keys, but with enough tactile feedback to let you know something has been pressed. Long story short, if I were to get a new keyboard, I'd just buy another Eclipse.

Me too! I like the way the feet are extended out from the corners so it gives a really stable base. My bro has the Eclipse II, which is basically the same thing with more colours and a couple of media keys.
