Found this thread on the MMO-Champion forums; whilst I knew quite a lot of it, a good deal of it was shiny new info to me, and made for an interesting read. Lots of shiny screenie and video links as well.

On the flipside, it meant I saw the original Troll Female model from the alpha again... *shudder*

Ah, the memories... I leveled holy all the way until out T5 Raiding when SP/Healing got changed to just SP... Luckily I had DPS gear to accompany my healing gear at the time xD

It seems lots of hunters are living in the past.

-Hunter arcane shot scaled from spellpower, which is why hunter T2.5 sets have SP on them.

I've seen so many of them still rolling and wearing spell power gear. Seems they're not plain stupid but just a bit outdated.

No.. no, they're just stupid

And yeah, T2.5 still has spellpower on, checked earlier. Made me chuckle, since they bothered to go back and update stuff like the attack power (formerly Ranged Attack Power) and crit on it...

Meh. I levelled as holy priest without DPS gear, and didn't have a speck of trouble doing it.

These people mean within 6 months

Most people would consider what you did (level as holy, no rested xp) to be some form of cruel torture, but I'm super impressed you stuck with it - I could never stick with levelling a priest even as shadow >.<
