nah that barrier isn't impassable it just involves legging it like a funking nutter.

it does seem tho that u can get away with the ridiculous things tho, running past large groups or running at a tank for shock value it can work.

One free tank for Wraith, one dead (and very embarrased) enemy.
After I kill them, if there's no other enemy around I like to get out and throw a few bags down onto their body to taunt them.

The other day me and kirb were on some german server on gulf of oman and there was a 2-star general on it as well. We wanted to get the big Su-34 jet bomber and he stood there and started saying "NEIN" to us and so we stuck about until the jet spawned hopped in and flew off. 3 seconds later we were slapped with a kick for "stealing/shooting a teammates vehicle". ??? How can you steal a teammates vehicle? Does anyone else have stories like this of unluckiness.
Also this one time, I jumped off a building I was sniping from and landed on a teammate and a suicide because the parachute didn't work (god-be-damned thing) and was banned from the server for the rest of the day

I have a feeling that that does breal one of EA's "Rules Of Engagement", so next time it happens you could get a screenshot and report it to EA (I can probably find the website if you want it). If you do report it you may be able to get their ranked status revoked.
I personally culdn't be arsed to go to thos lengths, but like I say, if you want it I can find you the website.
The parachute one is just bad luck though. I managed to do that to either Safety or Fury in a clan match once
