...But Im going to be leaving The Haven.

Ive been considering this for a long time now, and I know that it will seem completely out the blue, but I feel this is right for me.
Whilst I've had awesome fun playing with you guys, and getting to know you, I did start playing this game due to Pwnstar (Sabot), and my intention was always to "complete" the game as far as I could, advancing as quickly as possible.
Of late Ive been feeling bogged down, I know we're starting the 25mans now, and its great to see it happening, but I know I could still be moving faster.
I dont want to be spending £9 a month sitting around most of the time, going to one or two raids a week, I'd rather stop playing alltogether if that were the case.
As such Im leaving The Haven and attempting to get into a larger "pure" raiding guild, where I can be raiding much more frequently. This isnt due to anyone in The Haven, and I feel really crap about leaving you guys, trust me.
I hope that I can keep all the friends Ive made here, but I understand that some of you will now hate me for doing this, or possibly for whichever guild I may end up in.
I wish you all the best for the future, and if anyone needs any help with anything, Im still going to be here, just let me know.
Once again, Im sorry for doing this, I just feel its what I want from the game right now.

No worries, its a game and its entirely your call how you get enjoyment out of it.

Good luck in wherever you end up, failing that TheHavenNet is about more than just WoW so hopefully we'll see you around in other games and continue to see you on the forums ...

No need to apologise. No point in playing it the way you are now if you are not enjoying it.

It's a game and games are supposed to be fun. Go and enjoy yourself :)

Well, I'm afraid, Huung that if I were you I would not bother talking to me ever again. I've made me feelings very clear on this in the past and while this seems harsh it is the truth.

S'cool. Leave the guild, if that's where the game takes you. It's your game, and it's your duty to milk fun from it. :)

However, do take care not to leave the community. In other words, the forum is still here, TeamSpeak is still here, and most especially, we're still here.

Keep that THN spirit alive! :)

FFS. Do you want me to do what Zhin did and just leave the game altogether?

I like you guys, and my time in The Haven was awesome; I knew that joining Zenith would cause some problems, but at the end of the day, I wasnt here when stuff happened before, and as far as Im concerned, I'll judge people's character when I get to know them personally.
It may well be that you're spot on, and I regret my choice, but theres no need to throw me out of the community because of a choice I made in the game, that's the kind of immaturity and selfishness that you're accusing Zenith of.

As of now I'll keep in contact with those of you I know IRL, but its clear that I wont be sticking around here.

Thanks all, was a good 4 months, shame it had to end over such a trivial thing.

I'm not throwing you out of the community. None of us are throwing you out. One or two people just grumble about Zénith. You might have noticed that Pirate is still around despite the aforemention grumbling.

He was also with you guys since the days of NS, and was good friends with T-Bone before he joined Zenith. I've only been with you guys a short while, and whilst you know me IRL, not everyone does. T-Bone is an influential and respected member of this community, and if he's getting in a strop about me being around, then I wont be, simple as.
Im not throwing a tantrum here, I just dont want to cause more problems than I already have.

Oh, and "grumble" is a bit of an understatement ;P

Pirate was with -me- since the days on NS, not with THN; we were RamboCOW and WindyCOW/WindzarCOW, of the awesomeely epic "Cows of War"... which also happens to abbreviate to COW.... ah, good old times.

Anyhoo, to get back on track, he wasn't in The Haven all that much longer than you, so that hasn't got any bearing on it. Whether you're part of the community or not is up to you; Furigar, Blacker, Veshi, etc all still are (when they're around, that is), same goes for you and Pirate. It's one or two choice other individuals that make me grumble, and you needn't worry 'bout that.

Distract T-bone with some Irn Bru and wenches and he'll likely be more amiccable as well.

I assumed you had been around in THN quite a bit longer, and that as he knew you, Dan had been too.

Still, I dont have the time for chasing people about apologising and sucking up when Ive done nothing I regret. If people are going to be immature about it thats up to them, but I wouldnt want to be part of a community where the community spirit is broken on account of my actions.

Still, when all is said and done, TH does have the friendliest members on the server, as was pointed out by several people in /2 the other day, made me feel quite chuffed, despite not being with you lot anymore.
