Not compulsory, clearly, but of benefit to you and your fellow board users...

If you happen to be using Firefox 2.x (most of you?) you can download an extension that adds inline, as-you-type spell checking in a fashion similar to MS Word. This marvelous addition available from:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3366/

You can customise your own dictionary as you go and other neato functions. In fact, I struggle to think why you wouldn't download such a wonderful extension. It even avoids marking bbCode as a spelling error (for those who use the standard editor rather than the WYSIWYG editor).

Go go get it. :)

Yeah have been using this bad boy for a few weeks now and it is definetely helpful if your spelling is as mighty as mine is.
I think that monsieur le kirby may benefit from such a superlative tool, yes i know i used superlative as a superlative, so shoot me. But seriously tis quite useful.

I still have the old version of FireFox, and with that there's a spelling/grammar checker built in.

Ok, just a small thing so I didn't want to clutter things up with a new thread so I thought I'd just post in here:

In the amber theme, you know the lil pieces of text that read 'page 2 of 2' or 'page 1 of 3' beside the page selection thingy? Well, it's the same colour as the background (black). I was just mucking around with the cursor (as you do) when I realised it made the text selection cursor over a black empty space, so I highlighted it and it appeared :)

i had the old mozzila thing it needs 20. something and i had 1. some thing so i got the 2.0 somthing and it works now
