Spelunky

Spelunky is a 2D caving game in the theme of Nethack and other Rogue-like games. You do down from one level to the next, meeting harder enemies, buying better gear, and seeing cooler things each time. You can mine gold and gems from the rocks as if you go, if you wish, and it's pretty damn fun. If you like Nethack, Spelunky is definitely something you should look into.

Also, I find it interesting, that the game title "Spelunky" is un-diacritics-ified Czech word for little cramped rooms (original being "špeluňka", plural form "špeluňky"). Apparently it fits the game theme, so we can safely assume the creator (Derek Yu) was aware of this. +points to him for using Czech language

It's named after spelunking, which is a sport, which probably does takes it name from that Czech word. Never knew that though, so thanks!

English is a language that liberally poached other languages' words, sometimes wholesale but othertimes with just a hint of Anglification (is that a word?).
