Anyhoo, Starcraft!

Anyone play Starcraft anymore?

Bambi and I have been rediscovering it recently and we still love it!

After tentatively checking about the community I found some of the other old hands play it too! I'd love to create an event for this legendary and perfectly balanced game with as many players as we could get!

Any takers?

Yep, that's exactly what this section is for. The "Strategy Games" thing is a category to contain, well, strategy games. It doesn't contain actual posts of its own. It's actually to save having one huge list of games as we seemed to be diversifying some. :)

So, no moving gonna be happening, matey. Rant away. ;)

So how does a game get the prestigious right to be placed in the "Strategy Games" section?

Civ 4 is already in there with it's own sub-forum!!!

There is no more perfect an example of RTS than Starcraft!

Interest, basically. If a section doesn't get used after having had a chance to fly it'll get closed down. If some other game gets a following that needs more than one thread then it's worth having a forum and usergroup all of its own -- it's more than a 5 minute job setting that stuff up so it's not something I want to be doing on a whim.

So, prove that Starcraft needs more than one thread and it can have a forum and be welcome to it. Should Civ4 prove not to have a great need for threads of its own then it'll likely lose its forum to be replaced by something else at a later date.

I used to play Starcraft quite a bit awhile back. I haven't played in a long time though:(

It's the timezones that get in the way more than anything else :/

I'm in GMT -8, and on weekdays, I'm not home until 11:30 GMT

Weekends I'm generally around most of the day and I can probably make it any time.
