Right.
Many of you may have experienced issues with getting your WoW client to go over 60hz in the video settings.
There is possible sollution to fixing this for the time being.
At least until Blizzard are done with the hotfix.

If you are unable to set your refresh rate above 60Hz. here is what you can do.
!NOTE: Your desktop refresh rate may have to be over 60Hz for this to work!

Shut down your World of Warcraft client.
Locate your Config.wtf
This file is located in ./World of Wacraft/WTF/
Open the file with Notepad, Crimson Editor or any raw text reading/editing application.
Find: SET gxRefresh "60"
Change it to: SET gxRefresh "75" and then save the file.
Start your WoW client and log in.
The refresh rate will not be shown. But it has proven to work for most people.

Should this not work for you. Just change your refresh rate in-game back to 60. This will also change the altered one in the Config.wtf back to 60.

Hopefully this will solve the issue for the time being.

Provided your monitor can handle those refresh times. Most LCD's are 60Hz ...

Setting it higher than that will just cause you to get a black screen or a BSOD.

Aye
This post is however mainly for those who used to run the game at 70Hz and above.
The patch really messed things up, leaving almost everyone stuck at 60Hz.

It really doesn't make that much difference, it all depends what resolution you're running the game in...

Thing is this: There have been a heap of reports from people running various resolutions in WoW. But they are stuck at 60Hz no matter what.
DVI plugged plasma screens and such are highly likely to be 60 by default.
But a CRT monitor on the RS232 port, running 1024x768x32@75Hz isn't :P

Check the thread tbh.
I did not post this as a discussion or debate thread. Merely as a note and friendly tip.
