Subject of replies

When we fired up this version of THN Games on vBulletin we didn't really know what the various options really did. One thing I chose, almost at random, right at the start, was the way that the subject of replies was chosen.

Currently, reply subjects are of the form:

Re: <Original Subject>

So, a reply to this thread would have the subject:

Re: Subject of replies

That's all very functional...

However, I've noticed that many/most other vBulletin instances use the other configuration option. The other configuration option uses the form:

<First few words of your post unless you type something specific in>

So, if I pretend that this post was a reply to this thread, then the subject would read something like:

When we fired up this version of THN Games on vBulletin...

So... what's my point?

As this is a very simple configuration change, I'd like to gauge if people would prefer the more "usual" subject titles over our random choice.

The only real time I look at the subject of a reply is when I do a "View all posts from X", and that always says which thread it is in reply to anyway. So, erm, either way is good for me, I'll go with the majority

It's handy in threaded mode if you're looking to find a specific reply if it contains the first few words of the reply. That'd be my preference, although I'm not massively bothered.
