I didn't realise people outside of the USA cared, but I guess I was wrong after how many people I've seen talking about it.

Personally I didn't know who was playing, what they play, or that they were playing at all.

American TV (especially American Football) annoys me, as during the 2 qtr (which I watched) there were about 10 fucking ad breaks!!!

what's really weird is going to a game and seeing the players stand around for all of those breaks...i don't know how they get tired sometimes!

I wanted the Seahawks to win. Partly cos my mate likes them, partly cos the strip is so damn cool and partly cos Seattle Seahawks is the best sounding name. They didnt.

I had no idea people outside of the US cared either.

I was at a Super Bowl party, but I was playing Super Smash Bros.: Melee instead of watching the game. Died a couple times on accident because of the funny comercials though

Well all i gotta say is u try playing it for a full game. I play it and i know its hard. just because they arent running for a full 90 mins like football doesnt mean they have no stamina. You play for way longer than football and u do run but also you try taking getting hit ever second ur playing, everything begins to hurt because even getting hit takes energy out ya and usualy u wanna flatten them on there arses which needs alot of strenth and power. So dont say they have no stamina.

we have the soccer vs football (or football vs american football) argument all the time here, most of the time it's not really well thought out, just dudes bashing each other (figuratively).

they are different types of stamina, strength and skills needed. I played football (american) for 8 years and soccer for 10 before that and now i coach football (american) (damn this is getting confusing!) but i don't really remember how tiring soccer is, and haven't really watched that many matches...i know if i tried to run for more than 3 seconds now, i would be dead also if i tried to tackle someone, i think my shoulder would explode!
